will include V shows held in:

The over all high point winner from the series
will win this Marisita trophy Saddle




The Saddle Winner will be the Horse and Rider combination that receives 
the highest total percentage of possible scores over
4 Series V shows and the Series Finals


Saddle Series Rules
  • The same horse and rider must show in at least 4 series V shows and the series finals
  • The horse and riders 4 highest percent of possible scores from the series and the average of the 3 (1 per judge) finals percentage of possible score will added together 
  • The horse and rider with highest total  will win the saddle
  • Open and Amateur exhibitors are eligible to win the Saddle

Amateur and Open Finals High Point Awards


*


High Point awards will be awarded to both of IPHDA's Handicap divisions, the  M division and FM division 

based on Series participation

 

20 total entries or Less in the Series Amateur or Open Division
  • M and FM division winners will receive a  High Point Vest
21-69 total entries or more in the series Amateur or Open Division
  • M and FM division winners will receive a High Point Jacket

70- total entries or more in the series Amateur or Open Division

  • M and FM division winners will receive a Custom IPHDA Trophy Buckle
If  there are over 50 finals entries in either the open or amateur, a third award division will be added. The beginner division will be started at the M divisions finals percentage minus 50%. The beginner division winner will win a championship buckle as well.


Additional awards will be based on participation

  1. 100 or more Amateur or Open entries in the series and a reserve Championship Vest will be awarded to both the M and FM divisions
  2. 150 or more Amateur or Open entries in the series and a reserve Championship Jacket will be awarded and a third place Finals Vest will be awarded to both the M and FM divisions
  3. 200 or more Amateur or Open entries in the series and a Championship Jacket and Reserve Championship Jacket will be awarded and 3rd place through 10th will receive Top 10 Vest. In both the M and FM divisions


Finals Added Money


$1 from each Jack pot fee  paid throughout the series will be added to the finals purse.

  • This money comes from the Jack pot fee, to be eligible to win this purse money in the finals the exhibitor must have paid the jack pot fee in at least 4 V shows.
  • Finals jack pot and added money will be distributed according to the 2 division ( M 60% and F 40% ) payout system
    • If there is more than 50 entries in the open or Amateur Finals a third purse distribution division will be added (M 50%,  FM 30%,  Beginner 20%
    • The beginner division will payout at M division winners finals percentage minus 50%
Depending on sponsors and advertisers other money may be added!


Final Level Winners


IPHDA will award level winner at the finals based on participation 

  • Under 200 V entries in the series, IPHDA will award 20 award points to each level winner
  • 200- 400 V entries in the series IPHDA will award 30 award points to each level winner and 10 award points to reserve
  • 400 - 800 V entries in the series, IPHDA will award 40 award points to each level winner and 25 award points to reserve and 15 award points to 3rd

Youth Finals Awards

  •  IPHDA Championship buckles will be awarded to both both age groups,
  • FM division buckles will be awarded if more than 10 entires qualify for the finals
  • Reserve Buckles in each Division and other awards will be added as sponsors are obtained.


Qualifying for the finals

Youth, Amateur and Open Divisions

Exhibitors must enter a minimum of 4 V shows in the series.


  • Each horse and rider team must show in 4 of the 6 Series V shows to qualify for the finals.Ri
  •  Each horse rider/ team showing in the finals will ride in the highest level they graduated to
    • If a horse and rider have passed level 2 they will show in level 3
    • If a horse and rider have not passed a level they will show in the highest level they have showed in.

    General Rules and Fee's

    • The finals video tapes must be a new entry, i.e. the finals video can not be of a ride previously entered in a V show.
    • Amateur and Open Finals entry fee will be $35
    • Amateur and Open Finals Jack pot fee will be $45
    • (Jackpot fee will be optional but must be paid to qualify for purse money including added money)
    • Youth Finals Entry Fee will be $25
