2010 is going to be a great year for IPHDA and PHD
Thanks to our Members and Exhibitors

In the first 2 months of 2010 we have had a 20% increase in Membership
and many first time exhibitors.

I want to say "thank you" to ALL of our members and exhibitors for your faith and patience. With out your support we could not have developed Performance Horse Development and IPHDA into an event and association that encourages all types of riders to ride "Better Broke Horses"

The many differences between PHD and IPHDA from the standard equine events and associations means that there are many questions about what we are doing.

The many similarities between PHD, IPHDA and successful events and associations allow the answers to those questions to be easily to explained.

The most obvious examples of successful events that PHD emulates are Dressage and Figure Skating with their levels of competition that build the skills needed to advance to the next level.
  • Performance Horse Development as an event allows our exhibitors to compete at a challenging level that is not intimidating and this encourages more wet saddle pads and "Better Broke Horses"

IPHDA's Awards Program emulates the family fun centers, where game winners are allowed to exchange tickets won by playing the games for prizes of their choice.
  • IPHDA as an Association awards Personal Improvement as exhibitors progress through the levels of training their horse to be Better Broke Horses.
  • IPHDA also awards exhibitors when their personal achievement has created a horse and rider combination that is able to "Master a Level of How Broke"

IPHDA is now emulating the successful handicap systems used in  Barrel Racing, Team Penning, Roping and Golf with our new 2 Division Payout structure.
  • By making PHD events a competition of how well the Horse and Rider can master a level we are able to offer awards and payback to the exhibitors that have mastered a level as well as the exhibitors that are still working on Mastering their level.
The one thing that IPHDA is doing that is new and innovative, is making online horse shows fair and fun. The event structure and the judging system allows this to happen, that is why we have people winning while showing in the snow as well as in dry indoor arena's.

Again thank you all very much, you are pioneers in improving the horse industry. With your help IPHDA is going to make sure that anyone that wants to ride a Better Broke Horse does not have to leave or mortgage their home to do it!
